Apologies all for the looooooong wait for a post.
Life as a trainee teacher is extremely busy and tiring.
However, it still hasn't stopped me living life to the full and reaching for those dreams.
So have you ever wondered if you are in the presence of a murderer?
After last Friday night, I sure have (but only for fun).
Halloween - dressed as a zombie - in an extremely posh hotel ...
I attended a 25th wedding anniversary, however this wasn't your typical party.
This was a murder mystery evening - and as we are seated for dinner, an inspector enters the room to announce a murder and allow us to see some of the evidence.
Throughout the meal, more evidence was added and we were given the opportunity to speak to everyone involved and had to try and solve the murder.
Usually I am very good at solving a mystery, however after a fair few drinks I had sort of lost the plot a little ... Every 2 minutes I had a new theory and it was funny how certain I was every time :)
We had a lovely 3 course meal - Soup, Chicken and a gorgeous dessert.
We also witnessed another murder, the man who's wedding anniversary we were attending ... but who was the culprit?
By the end of the evening we had to make a decision, so I thought long and hard and obviously came to the wrong conclusion!!!
Why had I not considered the unrequited love as the most obvious motive?
Why had I not realised it was always the timid, quiet ones?
Why had I not noticed his shifty behaviour?
Because I was definitely a little tipsy :)
But hey I didn't mind ... We had great fun playing along!!
Our night did not end there however .... We then decided that the casino across the road definitely needed a zombie apocalypse!! So we headed over and played Blackjack for the first time ... And really enjoyed it!
Luckily we came away with £15 more than we had entered with, however we did meet a very strange couple that seemed to be wanting to do some weird swap!!!
After the best halloween, we headed back to the hotel ... And of course, had a couple more drinks and met a few more people and ended up chatting until the early hours of the morning!
I have to admit, it is not what I had expected to do during a murder mystery evening ... But I very much enjoyed my night!
And as an added bonus, we had a full English Breakfast delivered to our room in the morning :)
So all in all, we had a brilliant time!!!
Keep dreaming, living and loving <3
